In terms of functionality, the Flow Kettle has a large capacity, rapid boil technology, rear water window, lift off lid, concealed heating element, 360 degree base and more. We will go into more detail later.

Design

The Flow Kettle is sturdy and appears to be well constructed. The handle is chrome and is semi-circle shaped. The spout is wider than most kettles to help with pouring.

The Flow Kettle comes in four colours: Black, Grey, Mushroom Cream and White & Gold. Black is pictured throughout this review.

• Capacity - 1.7 Litres, or around 6-8 cups.
• Dimensions - 16.3cm x 22.7cm x 26.1cm.
• Illumination - The Flow Kettle illuminates white when boiling.
• Rapid Boil - The kettle features rapid boil technology. Perfect when you desperately need a quick cup of tea or coffee before leaving the house.
• Rear Water Window - There's a water window under the handle. It has cup markings from 3 cups up to 8 cups.
• Extra Wide Spout - The kettle has an extra wide spout to make pouring and filling more accurate.
• Limescale Filter - There's a limescale filter which inserts behind the spout. It's removable and washable. By filtering limescale, your drink will taste better and will look cleaner.
• Lift Off Lid - The kettle has a lift off lid to allow for easy filling and easy cleaning.
• Concealed Heating Element - The heating element is concealed in the bottom of the kettle, making the inside of the kettle easier to clean and also making it look much more appealing.
• 360 Degree Base - The kettle comes with a 360 degree rotational base. It also has non-slip feet.

Recommendation

Overall, we would recommend the Breville Flow Kettle and its matching four slice toaster. We particularly like the wavy design and chrome accents. These aren't things you usually see on a kettle, and they've both been executed well. We also like the number of modern features this kettle has. We rate the Flow Kettle 4.5 out of 5 stars.
