The Morphy Richards Evoke Kettle is a sleek and compact jug kettle featuring rapid boiling, an easy view water window and a useful limescale filter. Unlike most kettles which are either pyramid or cylindrical shaped, the Evoke Kettle is somewhere in between, sporting straight and curved parts. The way in which the kettle is designed makes it suitable for the majority of kitchens, particularly when the wide range of colour schemes are taken into account. These colours are Black (pictured), White, Red, Cream, Black & Rose Gold, Brushed Silver, Brushed Silver & Rose Gold and White & Rose Gold. Let's now give a run down of the features:

• Capacity - 1.5 Litres, or around 6 cups. The kettle is capable of boiling as little as 1 cup, allowing for a very fast boil.
• Dimensions - 23cm x 17cm x 25cm.
• Rapid Boil - The 3kW heating element provides the kettle with the ability to rapidly boil water.
• Limescale Filter - Before the water reaches the spout, it goes through a limescale filter. This results in better tasting and looking drinks, which is essential in the UK as most taps supply hard water. The filter can easily be removed for cleaning.
• Lift Off Lid - The lid can easily be removed by simply lifting it off. The ring loop on top of the lid makes this process simple.
• Water Window - The side of the kettle has a water window with a water level indicator written on it. It marks 3 cups, 5 cups and the 1.5 litre maximum. A consequence of the slanted design is the water gauge is easier to read.
• 360 Degree Base - For easy lifting and placing back down, the kettle has a 360 degree base. The kettle can be placed facing any direction on this base without having to move the base itself. This is particularly handy if the kettle is going to be used by left and right handed people.
• Integrated Cord Storage - Depending on where your plug sockets are, the kettle may have excess electrical cable. This cable can easily be tucked away underneath the 360 degree base, resulting in tidy worktops.
• Boil Dry Protection - If the water in the kettle comes close to boiling away, the heating element will shut off, therefore preventing damage to the kettle.
