The Tower Glass Kettle is a compact, well designed glass kettle suitable for contemporary homes and offices. Utilising Schott glass, the kettle is particularly durable. The real beauty is in the illumination. When the kettle is boiling, the inside will light up a magnificent blue, really adding to the style.

From a feature perspective, the kettle has what you would expect from modern day electric kettles. There's a push button lid release for easy filling, a 360 degree base for easy usability and boil dry protection and automatic shut off for safety.

In terms of features, you're looking at the following:

• Capacity - 1.7 Litres, or approximately 7 cups.
• Dimensions - 15.6cm x 22.0cm x 23.6cm.
• Push Button Lid Release - When holding the kettle's handle, there's a conveniently placed push button next to your thumb so that you may open the lid and easily fill the kettle.
• 360 Degree Circular Base - The kettle comes with a useful 360 degree base which is perfect for easily placing down the kettle, even more so if it's going to be used by a mixture of left and right handers. It also allows for the kettle itself to be cordless, so the boiling water can be taken anywhere without having to fiddle around with plugs and electrical cables.
• Concealed Heating Element - The heating element is concealed in the bottom of the kettle for safety purposes, and for ease of cleaning.
• Boil Dry Protection - The kettle will not attempt to boil the water if there's no water inside. It will switch off if the water is boiled away.
• Automatic Shut Off - When the kettle is up to temperature it will stop boiling. Your water temperature will therefore be consistent, and there's no worry about the kettle over boiling and becoming a hazard.

The blue LED illumination completes the design. It gives a beautiful effect when the kettle is boiling.

Matching Toaster

Tower sell two types of toaster designed in the same style as that of the kettle. The first toaster is a 2 slice toaster, and the second is a 4 slice toaster. These toasters are available in black or pink as required. Both are available on amazon.co.uk.

Recommendation

All things considered, we recommend the Tower Glass Kettle for modern kitchens and offices. The design is good, but the blue illumination through the glass push the kettle into top tier territory. The features are comprehensive as well, and are mostly in line with other premium kettles. Overall, we rate the Tower Glass Kettle 4.5 out of 5 stars.
