From a design point of view, the Swan urn has a standard shape. There's a large and robust stainless steel cylindrical housing, a concealed heating element underneath the floor of the urn, a tap near the bottom and a drip tray underneath the tap. The urn is capable of providing a rapid boil, and once the water has boiled it's able to keep the water warm throughout the day.
