The Ariete Moderna Kettle is a beautifully designed retro themed compact kettle with plenty of modern features. It will bring a touch of nostalgia to your home, while providing you with the benefits of contemporary features. The rounded body, overhead handle, lift off lid and large rounded spout all add their bit to the overall feel.

One nice touch is the temperature dial on the front of the kettle which allows you to boil water to your desired temperature. Perfect for if you prefer your tea brewed at a lower temperature. For example, in the case of green tea, a lower temperature is essential for the full flavour.

It's available in white (pictured), black and red. Each of the designs are stainless steel, and all three have silver accents with a black plastic handle and lid knob. A very well put together kettle in our view.

About Ariete

Ariete are a brand of small appliances, with particular emphasis on kitchenware. They sell kettles, toasters, coffee machines, blenders, irons and much more. It was started in 1964 and is located in Tuscany. It's a strong brand with a good reputation behind it.

Specification

• Capacity - 1.7 Litres, 6-8 cups approximately. Perfect for a sit down with the family, entertaining a group of friends, or even working in a busy office.
• Limescale Filter - The kettle comes with an in-built fine mesh filter. It's designed to reduce limescale and other undesirable particles from entering your cup. It's removable by hand and can be rinsed under a tap.
• External Temperature Dial - As discussed above, there's a retro temperature dial on the side of the kettle. It will change as soon as the temperature of the kettle changes. It has Celsius on the outer semi-circle and Fahrenheit on the inner semi-circle. It ranges from 0C to 100C.
• Cordless Design - The kettle is completely cordless, and instead uses a base for power.
• 360 Degree Base - The base is 360 degrees meaning the kettle can be put on it facing any direction. Perfect for a kettle used by left and right handers as the base doesn't have to be moved.
• Automatic Shut Off - A sensor will switch the kettle off once the water inside reaches the correct temperature.

Lift Off Lid

Following the retro theme, the kettle's lid can be simply lifted off. This means that it's easy to fill and clean.
