The Swan Retro Kettle with Temperature Dial is a retro themed kettle with a charming analogue temperature gauge on the side. Practically speaking, the kettle is far from old fashioned, as it's full of features expected from modern kettles, including rapid boiling, a fine mesh limescale filter, an easy pour spout and a whole host of safety features.

The design of the kettle is unique, and it certainly has a retro feel to it. The body is made from stainless steel, and the details/accents are chrome. So as to ensure suitability for most kitchens, the Retro Kettle is available in five colours. These are black, blue (pictured), cream, green and grey.

Temperature Dial

The most prominent feature which sets this kettle apart from most available on the market is the round temperature dial on the side. The dial displays from 0 degrees Celsius up to 100 degrees Celsius as pictured below.

Aside from completing the retro feel, the dial allows precise control over the temperature. You can stop the kettle from boiling when it reaches your optimal temperature, making it extremely useful for herbal teas and different coffees. It also means that if the kettle is still warm, you can avoid unnecessary reboiling, therefore saving electricity in the process.

• Boil Dry Protection - Also for safety, if the kettle boils its water away completely, then it will turn itself off.

Water Filter

Water Gauge

In addition to a temperature gauge, there's also a water gauge. The gauge marks 0.6L (minimum), 1.0L, 1.2L and 1.5L (maximum).
