The Dualit Architect Kettle is a sleek and stylish stainless steel kettle. We review the brushed model, but there's also a version with polished stainless steel. There are three trims available too, these are black (pictured), canvas and grey. One of the main features of this kettle is its patented pure non-drip spout, giving a smooth and steady pour.

Feature-wise, the kettle is modern. It has a rapid boil heating element, giving hot drinks at a fast speed, a water level indicator with an easy to read gauge, a limescale filter, a 360 degree base, a concealed long lasting heating element, and more. One feature which we particularly like is the ability to change the colour of the panels.

• Capacity - 1.5 Litres. This capacity equates to about 6 cups, perfect for large families.
• Dimensions - 22cm x 14cm x 24cm.
• Interchangeable Panels - There are packs of interchangeable coloured panels available which can be installed so that the kettle matches the style of your kitchen.
• Rapid Boil - The kettle's powerful 2.3kW heating element allows it to rapidly boil water.
• Filter - There's an internal fine mesh limescale filter inside of the spout. It removes impurities in the water such as limescale. Not only does it make your drink look better, but it makes it less cloudy.
• Push Button Lid - For ease of filling (and cleaning), there's a push button on top of the handle which controls the lid.
• Water Level Indicator - Underneath the handle is a water window. On this window are cup markers. You can therefore measure out water accurately which reduces boiling time and saves energy.
• 360 Degree Base - The kettle has a 360 degree base. Because the kettle has a base, the kettle doesn't require a cord which means the boiling water can be moved anywhere without hassle. The base allows for easy lifting and placing, and as such it's suitable for both left and right handers.
• Concealed Heating Element - The heating element is concealed underneath the floor of the kettle. This extends the life of the element, and makes the interior look much more visually appealing.
• Boil Dry Protection - The kettle will not boil itself dry as the boil dry sensor will shut off the heating element before this happens.

Our View

Overall, we're left with a positive impression of the Architect Kettle. Its rapid boil heating element and unique patented pure pour non-drip spout alone make the kettle worthy of attention. But not only does the kettle excel in features, its style is great also, with a sleek metal surface and well placed details. We rate the Dualit Architect Kettle 4.5 out of 5 stars, and recommend it for both traditional and contemporary kitchens.
