The Salter Pyramid Kettle is a stylish pyramid shaped kettle with a beautiful matt grey exterior and a combination of polished stainless steel and rose gold accents. The kettle has a traditional theme, but the features are very much modern, giving you a nostalgic feel without having to compromise on the luxury of modern features.

The major contributing factors towards the traditional design are the compact pyramid shape, the overhead handle and the elongated stainless steel spout. In terms of practicality, the Salter Pyramid Kettle ticks all of the boxes. Some of these tangible features include rapid boil, a limescale filter, a water level indicator and a 360 degree base.

About Salter

Salter are a brand of kitchenware which have been around since 1760. They sell all sorts, including kettles, toasters, blenders, mixers, grills, air fryers, soup makers, cutlery, utensils, and more. They're known for their high quality and durable products.

Specification

The features are as follows:

• Capacity - 1.7 Litres, equating to about 6-8 cups, depending on the size of the cup of course. This is more than enough to suit large families and workplaces.
• Dimensions - 25.0cm x 22.5cm x 31.0cm.
• Rapid Boil - The kettle rapid boils water and does so via the use of a 3kW electric heating element.
• Limescale Filter - The kettle comes with a limescale filter. It's removable and washable so it can be used over and over.
• Illuminating Power Switch - The power switch illuminates during the boiling process.
• 360 Degree Base - The kettle is cordless meaning it boils on a base. This base is 360 degrees, meaning the kettle can be placed on it at any angle. Such a feature is particularly handy if the kettle is going to be used by left and right handed people.
• Boil Dry Protection - The kettle is equipped with a boil dry sensor which will shut off the heating element if it comes close to boiling dry.

Our View

All things considered, we have a positive view of the Salter Pyramid Kettle. The pyramid shape, overhead handle and the use of rose gold really do give the kettle a traditional feel. And the features such as rapid boiling, the removable and washable limescale filter and the 360 degree base give you all the luxury of a modern kettle. We rate the Salter Pyramid Kettle 4 out of 5 stars.
